Shiseido Brilliant Sun Protection Set

Shiseido
Brilliant Sun Protection Set
The set includes a 3.3 fl oz of Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 55 PA+++ and a 0.6 oz Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32 PA++, along with deluxe samples of White Lucent Intensive Brightening Mask and White Lucent Concentrated Brightening Serum. Plus an insulated designer pouch.
The Shiseido Brilliant Sun Protection Set gets you ready for summer with brightening suncare. It reduces the appearance of dark spots and freckles for a flawless, even complexion and also shields against future sun damage.
My Monday was one hot and humid day. The heat caused me to want to remain indoors, out of sun’s reach. Yea, I spent most of the day curled up in my bed but this reminded me of the glorious Summer the rest of you folks are enjoying. Summer means heat and I know a lot of you beauties would want to spend the sunny days roaming the streets or lounging on your beach towels getting some colour on your skin.
But it’s good to remember to put some protection on your skin. We wouldn’t want you to get dried up and prune-like. Plus the danger of your skin aging pre-maturely. I reckon getting the habit of putting on sun protection will do you good in the long run that’s what caused me to look for something to recommend. I found this handy kit from Shiseido over at Sephora. I think with the savings and what the set promised it offers you, it’s a good deal. I have to admit, though, that I haven’t had the chance to give Shiseido a go but the Sun Protection Lotion (Face Shield) has a very good reputation. It’s been voted as one of Sephora’s Best. So, I reckon it’s worth to give the rest of it a shot, yea?
As suggested: Use the highly nourishing sunscreen lotion for the face and body to defend against powerful UVA/UVB rays that cause sunburn, cell damage, and premature signs of aging. Follow with a rich eye cream that minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and enhances skin’s radiance while providing exceptional protection against UVA/UVB rays. A few times a week, treat your face to a contoured, ten minute facial mask that slips on luxuriously to bring concentrated brightening and hydrating benefits to the skin. Use the high-performance, brightening treatment serum as neededit intensively targets dark spots, freckles, and dullness to give skin an extraordinary radiance and beautifully even color.
The set valued at $ 98 only costs $67 over at Sephora.
If any of you ladies have had experience with any of these products, feel free to voice out your thoughts. We’d appreciate the feedback!

Kanebo Sensai Brush Concealer: Treatment Makeup
SENSAI Concealer is enriched with Kanzo (licorice) Extract, a traditional medicinal herb taken from the root of the licorice plant and used to gently soothe blemishes and help prevent irritation. A second key component is Moistened Powder, a unique powder pre-moistened and coated with oil that helps to retain the natural oil in the skin. Silk Extractprevents moisture loss and allows for a smooth applicationand Weightless Glow Factor, is an exquisite, feather-like powder with thin, flat granules which provide smooth coverage and which cause light to reflect evenly off your face. The Concealer also now includes the exclusive Koishimaru Silk Extract which provides superior moisturizing to the skin. Koishimaru Silk was once only reserved for the Imperial Family of Japan, Kanebo was granted the rights to work with this precious fiber.
Received word that this brush-type concealer is coming next month. They claim that they’ve re-engineered this makeup to help better reverse the signs of aging. Certainly caught my attention. I’ve always been intrigued with Kanebo and checking out the unique features, the brush-on applicator and pen-like design, peaked my curiosity even more. I reckon it’s built for easy application and mobility. I’m not sure if it’ll be too bulky compared to the usual tubes or pots that concealers usually come in.
As far as I’ve learned about the product, it contains moisturising ingredients that quickly gets absorbed by the skin, gently moisturising and nourishing it. The Weightless Glow Factor is evenly distributed, uniformly reflecting light, making the skin radiant. And the Moisture Powder acts as a veil for oil and excess moisture.
What is Treatment Makeup? Moisturizing and cosmetic ingredients are applied to the skin in fine layers to achieve a soft dewy complexion and a flawless finish. Water and Silk are layered much the way a fine kimono is layered in Japan. Makeup products are infused with the skincare research, exclusive ingredients and knowledge Kanebo is renowned for.
As much as I want to promise that I’d feature this product in my Eastern Experiments series, I can’t. We’ll see if we can get a sample so we can see whether it can actually deliver.
This brush concealer is part of the NEW Foundation Series of Kanebo.
Scheduled to launch in August, the NEW Foundation Series has been developed with the acclaimed Japanese make-up artist Hisano Komine. Based in Paris, France since 1996 she has produced looks for fashion houses on runways in Paris and Milan and been featured in numerous fashion publications in Europe.
The NEW Foundation Series includes:
* Smoothing Water Make-Up Base deeply hydrates and smoothes the skin preparing it for foundation application. (SRP: $45)
* Fluid Finish Foundation, moisturizing foundation contains a high amount of water which enables it to provide a veil of moisture to the skin (9 shades). (SRP: $50)
* Loose Powder (translucent) finishes the look with extremely fine, feathery-light translucent powder with a delicate tint, appropriate for all skin tones. (SRP: $60)
* A re-formulated version of the Brush Type Concealer with ingredients such as Kanzu Extract and Weightless Skin Glow. (SRP: $33)
If any of you guys get to try this product out, do let me us know. We’d love to hear your experience and to see if this is worth the buy.

A choice between going for a safer route on Basic Lashes or for making a splash with Fantasy Lashes for this Saturday’s Red Light Party.
With many options available for them false eyelashes over at Shu Uemura, I’ve found myself in a bind. How to choose. Which to pick. Decisions, decisions. Ah, the vanities of life. What a dilemma, eh? Pah.
The pragmatic in me wants to go for the safer and more practical choice, Basic Lashes (S217, Shu Uemura - top). Decidedly more natural-looking, which will definitely enhance the volume and length of the eyelashes, making your eyes pop out. Considering that it’s subtle enough to wear during daytime but won’t lose its luster at night.
However, the more adventurous side of me wants a little bit of kick and go for the more obvious, bold statement maker, Fantasy Lashes (Dazzling Diamante, Shu Uemura - bottom). Such luxurious, flirt-y and fun sight it would be! I can actually envision the shadows on my cheeks, feel the fluttering at every bat of an eyelash. PLUS! Wouldn’t it be fantastic to see them on photos? It creates this inexplicable blubbering excitement. Downside is that it’ll definitely be a show-stopper. Do I really want that sort of attention? Another is, will it be easy to keep it on?
Again. Decisions, decisions. I wonder what sort of falsies will I end up using?
Which one would you go for?

The lady behind Beauty Bento Box (me, me, me!) is actually planning to do just that.
Come Saturday, I’m planning to turn this oh-so-ordinary-looking Asian lashes into something that can stop traffic. Okay. That’s probably overstating it but I do plan to do up the lashes part and, hopefully, apply amazing eye makeup which will help me create the look worthy of such an event.
Believe me. It’ll be one hell of a challenge since it’ll be the first time I’ll sport falsies. Can you see my hands shaking at the idea? Can I possibly pull it off? Won’t I make a fool of myself and instead of looking fantastic, I’d end up looking like a tramp with gawky looking eyes. LOL. Dear me. But, hey, I’m psyching myself up to the beauty task. I WILL DO THIS! HA! (eeep)
I’ll let you know as soon as I’ve bought me the perfect oh-so-shu eye kit. Yes, I’m planning to raid shu uemura. Hopefully, I’d be able to get my hands on something amazing (fingers crossed!).
Meanwhile, any tips for me? Hehe.
