My grandmother had to have a mastectomy yesterday for breast cancer, and while Isat in the hospital waiting area, I was flipping throughaStylewatch magazine (5/08 issue) that I had in my laptop bag. They featureda full page of sandals for the “going boho” look (page 109)- Studded, fringed or simple in style, super-flat shoes are the way to go. And of all of the eight sandals pictured, only one (shown above)did not have “toady parts” (as my aunt calls them). And if you’ve known me long enough, you know I hate things between my toes. Happy Labor Day! Even though I’m still sitting at my computer todayand working per se, I love writing blogs and sharing my shopping findsthat I can’t really consider this a “job“.

The above pic is of me wastaken on Saturday wearing my new Wedge Gladiator Sandals from Wet Seal. I like them as they are both fashionable and comfortable. I gotquite a fewcompliments and a few “those look like Jesus sandals” comments from obviously non-fashion friends. And I had to wear red, as it was the Huskers first football game of the season!
