Ginko Biloba

The ginkgo biloba is one of the oldest trees, and its leaves are among the most extensively studied today. Widely touted as a “brain herb,” ginkgo leaves are used in the form of a concentrated ginkgo biloba extract (GBE) to boost memory and enhance cognitive performance. GBE is one of the best-selling herbal medications in the US and Europe, and is commonly added to nutrition bars, soft drinks, and fruit smoothies. Ginkgo has also been used in traditional medicine to treat circulatory disorders and ailments associated with decreased blood flow to the brain.
